Tyndall sits along Highway 44 near the neighbouring community of Garson, in the Rural Municipality of Brokenhead. The area grew up around its limestone quarries, and Tyndall Stone, the distinctive fossil-rich stone quarried locally, has been used in Canadian landmarks for generations. It's still a working part of the local economy today.
Life here has a small, rural rhythm: fewer neighbours, more open space, and a slower pace than Winnipeg or even nearby Selkirk. Residents typically drive for groceries, schooling, and larger errands, trading some convenience for quiet and room to breathe.
Tyndall Evergreen Townhomes on Evergreen Blvd. is a brand-new rental community taking shape here, our first in the area. Once complete, it will bring modern, pet-friendly 1, 2, and 3 bedroom townhomes to a part of Manitoba that's had little in the way of newer rental housing.
Tyndall is about 20 minutes from Selkirk and roughly 30 to 45 minutes northeast of Winnipeg via Highway 44, depending on traffic and route.
